Our approach to cases was born in 1981 when the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia asked Dr. Park Dietz to lead the team evaluating John Hinckley, Jr., for the attempted assassination of President Reagan. The innovative methods developed in that evaluation have been successfully applied to countless cases since then, including many of the most important cases of the past quarter century.

Moreover, PD&A has been a leader in the use of videotape during forensic evaluations to ensure accuracy and transparency.

PD&A experts have appeared on hundreds of documentaries and news shows in the U.S., Canada, Australia, England, France, Japan, and Spain, have consulted on major Hollywood films, have coached Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford, and Michelle Pfeiffer for particular roles, and regularly advise the writers and producers of TV shows, including “Law & Order,” “ER,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Law & Order: LA,” and others.
